Catholics hold the Blessed Eucharist in the highest honour. They are obliged to attend Mass on all Sundays of the year and Holy Days of Obligation. They should receive the Sacrament with great devotion and frequency, and should reverence it at all times with the greatest adoration. They have an obligation to receive the Eucharist at least once a year during the time prescribed (Ash Wednesday to Trinity Sunday). Catholics who are in danger of death are strengthened by Holy Communion as Viaticum.

As notified in the Parish Bulletin |
Children in Year 3 are prepared for the reception of First Holy Communion through the Parish and Parish School. Their First Communion takes place in June usually on the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi).
This is arranged through the Parish Office. Holy Communion is taken to the Roselands Nursing Home each Sunday and Mass is celebrated there every month.
Those who are confined to their homes are visited and given Holy Communion every Wednesday.
