Welcoming Committee
The purpose of this group is to make each parishioner and visitor feel welcomed to Regina Coeli church.
We seek to do this by meeting each person at the door, greet them with a smile and hand them a Parish bulletin.
The wearing of the name badge enables parishioners and newcomers to establish a link with the welcomers.
A roster is prepared twice yearly. Each door is attended by ‘a welcomer’ at the two Sunday Masses and the Saturday Vigil Mass.
Every person can be a welcomer. A personal approach and an invitation through the Parish Bulletin ensures that parishioners know that they are welcome to join the roster.
Feeling from people over the past eight years has been positive.
